Greetings Cards - Pam Pebworth

Pam Pebworth  began engraving on wood after retiring from a career dedicated to art and craft.   She trained as a teacher at the Bath Academy of Art, completed twenty years of teaching as the head of art and craft in a comprehensive school, retrained as a furniture restorer at West Dean College and became a renowned restorer of lacquer work, long case clocks and clock faces.   These skills of observation, draftsmanship and technical precision are distilled into her intricate wood engravings.   She exhibits in galleries mainly in the south-west, is a member of the Society of Wood Engravers and has work illustrated in a number of books and in permanent public collections.
